Baxter brings over 30 years of experience in property finance, providing creative solutions for some of Australia’s landmark developments.

He has successfully structured and settled development finance loans totaling in excess of $1,500m and built and managed an $800m loan book comprised of both commercial and residential securities. 

As both co-founder and director, he manages the growth of DFP’s property finance and advisory business, continually working with our clients to deliver tailored funding solutions for property developers.

Matthew Royal co-founded Development Finance Partners in 2011, with a strong track record in finance spanning over 20 years.

Matthew is widely recognised in the property finance industry as a leading expert in the field of bank and non-bank real estate finance. 

Prior to DFP, Matthew held structured property finance roles with several bank and non-bank lenders. 

Matthew is a trusted advisor to some of Australia’s leading private property developers.

Gary has 30 years of experience in banking and finance and has held relationship management positions with Bankwest and NAB. He has also worked abroad in both Asia and Europe within funds management and private equity businesses. 

Gary has also spent several years working in private enterprise as a financial controller.

Gary has been involved in all aspects of finance from origination, cash-flow modelling and deal structuring and brings to DFP both drive and experience.

Kate has over 13 years of banking experience spread across retail, lending and credit roles. She has been involved in all aspects of finance from origination through to due diligence, credit structuring and risk management, transaction execution and portfolio management. 

Kate has a passion for property and development and enjoys her role heading up our credit team and managing the deal process from conception to settlement. Kate along with the credit team are specialists in the assessment of finance fundamentals and funding strategies

Bronko has been with DFP for 11 years and assists in the growth and expansion of our business and client network.

He has held Senior Relationship Management positions with Westpac and ANZ, collectively for 26 years, working with a diverse client base including property developers and construction companies.

Bronko works closely with our clients and key lending authorities, working in partnership to provide varied and complex loan solutions for commercial and property development finance.

Bob has over 30 years of experience in banking and property finance industry. His career has included roles in the commercial, investment and non-bank sectors. His experience covers a wide range of disciples including marketing, sales and credit analysis. 

Bob’s focus is assisting developer clients in financing projects, utilising his experience in the debt, equity and mezzanine capital markets.

Kerry is an experienced Finance and Management executive with over 20 years of experience in the corporate and property sectors. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business. 

Kerry has held senior strategic, financial and management positions within property, retail, private equity and the financial services sector.

She holds Board and Advisory positions within the financial planning and property sectors.
